High Quality BedThis bed was very easy to assemble. I was able to do it by myself in about an hour and a half. The bed is as pictured except it s kind of sparkly. Mixed in with the dark bronze color are some kind of red looking sparkles. You do not notice them from a couple feet away, but they are very obvious if you look close. The bed is extremely sturdy, but pretty high if you use a box spring the picture is with a box spring . The bed has high quality wooden slats that screw to the frame, so you could just use a mattress. I would purchase this bed again, but I do wish it had a mat finish rather than the sparkly one.
