The assembly was mostly fine. Definitely need 2 or more people. One of the wholes for the screws to go in wasn t measured perfectly in the headboard so we had to miniver the sides around quite a bit for it to work. It looks amazing though and is pretty sturdy. My picture makes it look a lot darker than it really is.
