Javagold: Utterly Gorgeous Bed, Easy Set Up

This bed is fantastic and very well made. I m a 130 pound woman and was able to unbox the whole thing and assemble it with a little help from my mom although I really don t recommend it - it s better to do this with a friend . Just a couple of things there s a lot of trash generated, the 80 for setup and hauling away the shipping materials would have been worth it. It s very heavy, very well made and I m very happy with the purchase. Amazon also has the cheapest price anywhere on the net. As for the color, it s a wheat champagne color and the wood is darker then I expected, but I love it. Comes in four boxes, and the slats are woven together and come with predrilled holes for easy screwing. I was also excited that there were NO BOLTS at all, just metal hooks to get in place. That was the hardest part, was getting all the hooks to place correctly. If you shine a light into each of the slots, you ll see the metal bars the hooks latch on to - but they are half way down the slat and you need to line them up correctly. We also propped something under the railings while putting the bed together so we wouldn t get tired holding the railing up. Hence it s good to have two people . Anyway, hope that helps I ll update the review in a few weeks after I ve slept on it.
