Customer reviewsNice looking, good price but for beds on platforms beware
Overall I think the bed is a good value for the price. The box containing the heard board arrived with one corner bent. I opened it up and found in shipping the bottom corner of the headboard was actually bent. Considering the hassle of re-packaging the headboard I managed to straighten out the corner and the metal support that you add during assembly made me feel comfortable that it ll hopefully not become an issue in the future. The main issue I have is if you have a bed that does not need the slats, like a sleep number or some type of motion platform, this bed is is very difficult to assemble due to the brackets used to support the rails which must be installed as this is where the feet attach. I had to modify the sequence of the assembly steps and thankfully I did which allowed me to torque down more of the screws as I went along. At this point on one side rail I, with difficulty, only have 2 of the three attachment screws fully torqued down. So just be aware if you have to build this around an existing bed platform like a sleep number you ll need to secure the one rail and foot board securely then slide that side up against your bed platform as the last rail you attach will probably not have enough clearance to torque all the screws down.
