Customer reviewseach slat must be individually placed and screwed to the bed unlike many other pre-packed beds which use a system to roll-out
This bed is OK but not worth the price. It arrived on a pallet in 6 huge boxes and in hundreds probably of pieces. Given the price paid and the size of the boxes, it could have come partially assembled. You literally nearly need to build this bed nearly from scratch. The bed looks and feels cheap with exposed bolts once it is complete. Most beds of this type at least have recessed bolts that are then covered with a wooden dowel or similar to give it a finished look...but not this bed. Also, each slat must be individually placed and screwed to the bed unlike many other pre-packed beds which use a system to roll-out the slats making it a quick and easy job. Additionally, I would not call the wood used in this bed furniture quality. There are several knots in the wood which makes me a bit nervous to have it near my young daughter. Lastly, the vertical slats were not well coated in varnish, with the insides being rough. The slats under the mattress are also very rough and likely to give splinters at some point. All-in-all, a good idea that was not well executed.
