The bed is sturdy and well constructed. The types of wood used were of good quality. There were enough hard wear to put the bed together with some extra for those mistakes we all make. It took me and my wife 5 hours to put together 6 beers and two glasses of wine, LOL. Overall well built and good price for the bed
