Nice bed I dinged a star due to the fact that the back of the headboard had 3 puncture holes, likely due to a forklift. We got the King. The color is a true gray, mid to light value, in a tweedy material. It took a while to put all of those slats in but the result is a sturdy bed that looks stylish. The mild curves in the headboard are just enough to temper what would otherwise be a fairly masculine look.
