Customer reviewsAlmost exactly what I wanted
This truly is 100 real wood, and well worth the price. I inherited a feather tick mattress made by my great-grandmother, so I have no box spring and no need for one. I used to have a pressboard bed that cost more than this one, and it fell apart like cardboard. I said I wouldn t have another cardboard bed in my house, so I was excited to see this bed at the price offered. One of the things I like most about it is that you screw the slats into place. My former cardboard bed and many other platform beds have slats that are joined by nylon straps, which are then supposed to fit into metal slides. The problem is that the wood slats then slide around, and you can find your mattress sagging through the misplaced slats. Not a problem with this bed.
